<p>PURPOSE:To allow to project dense and light color picture image on a screen by providing in parallel red, green and blue color projecting device having a projecting lens for projecting color picture images on a screen after coloring a displayed image on a liquid display panel. CONSTITUTION:Red, green and blue projecting devices 3R, 3G and 3B are arranged side by side in a casing 1 and respective color picture images are projected on the screen S from three image projecting widows 2a. Each projecting device has a liquid crystal display unit 5, a condenser lens 6, a collimator lens 7, relay lens 8 and a projector 9 which is a combination of plural lenses, in a mirror tube 4. The display unit 5 is composed of monochromatic display transparent dot matrix liquid crystal display panel and a driving circuit substrate driving the panel. The displayed images on the liquid crystal display panels of the devices 3R, 3G and 3B are colored by a red lamp 24, a green lamp 24G and a blue lamp 24B lighting the panels from their reverse sides. A projector with high power of resolution is obtained since the image is displayed by individual picture element as liquid crystal display panel.</p> |
