<p>PURPOSE:To certainly prevent the generation of slip between the surface of a driving roller and a paper sheet by constituting the captioned device from a paper transporting roller equipped with the needle-haped projecting members on the periphery and a pressing roller opposed to the paper transporting roller, for nipping the paper. CONSTITUTION:A paper transporting roller 2 is revolved by a driving shaft 3, and a paper sheet P is transported and inserted between rollers 2 and 5. Then, the teeth 12 projecting on the periphery of a needle-shaped gear 10 stick onto the paper P, and drive the paper P. A pressing roller 5 shifts the shaft 8 of the pressing roller downwardly by the portion of the thickness of the paper by the insertion of the paper sheet P, but the pressing roller 5 contacts with the undersurface of the paper and is revolved, following the revolution of a paper transporting roller 2, by the urging of the trailing shaft 8 by a spring, etc. Therefore, no slip is generated between the surface of the driving roller and the paper sheet P, and the paper sheet can be transported correctly and certainly.</p> |
