PURPOSE:To dispense with ten-key for writing telephone number data into the memory and to simplify the constitution by providing means for detecting the telephone number dialled by the telephone and by registering the telephone number into the memory by the telephone. CONSTITUTION:Upon operation of a memory key in a keyboard 5, a control circuit 1 sets the memory 7 to the write state while turning a transistor 21 on and driving a relay 20 so that a normally closed relay contact 10 is opened and the telephone 11 is disconnected from a telephone line L. When a handset of the telephone 11 is taken up for dialing, the dialed number is detected by a telephone number detector 12 and supplied to the circuit 1. The supplied telephone number data are stored in a register in the line 1 and supplied to a display 6 so that the telephone number is displayed on the indicator 6. Upon actuation of a select key in the keyboard 5, the address number of the memory 7 corresponding to the select key is produced in the circuit 1 and the telephone number data in the register is written into the memory 7.
