PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency, by a method wherein a conveyor for conveying a powdery material is constituted such that retainers are coupled to each other by engaging the pins of a chain plate with pin holes formed at the front and the rear of the retainer, and a shield member is located between the retainers. CONSTITUTION:Retainer 10, having rectangular appearance and a flat upper surface 12, are intercoupled by engagin gthe pins of a chain plate with pin holes 13 formed at the front and rear parts of the retainer, the retainers 10 are rotatably mounted to a chain. In which case, a shield member 11, formed in the shape of a portal and having a pliable flexible part 16 slightly bent at its central part, is located between the retainers 10 through engagement of hard parts 17 with their mating embracing parts 15. This constittution enables not only corrugated fibreboard boxes to be conveyed but also a powdery mate rial to be conveyed without the occurrence of leak, and permits simplification of structure. |
