PURPOSE:A composition that is obtained by adding a specific amount of o-cresol novolak epoxy resin to 2 kinds of bismaleimide triazine resin different in molecular weight, thus being suitable as a primary structural material for aircrafts, because it has increased water resistance and high stress energy release rate without any adverse effect on its heat resistance. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is obtained by adding (A) 5-20pts.wt. of o-cresol novolak epoxy resin melting at 75-95 deg.C to (B) 95-85pts.wt. of B1: a bismaleimide triazine resin of 1,000-1,500mol.wt. consisting of 95-85% of a cyanate ester and/or its prepolymer and 5-15% of a bismaleimide and/or its prepolymer and B2: the same polymer where the molecular weight is 1,900-2,400 and their weight ratio is 9/1-7/3. |
