PURPOSE:To prevent documets from being jammed or damaged by providing four sets of first, second, third, and fourth sheet paths and putting out a part of a document from a device while keeping upward the face of the document to be processed by a document processing unit. CONSTITUTION:A feed belt 5 is rotated in a direction A and a separation belt 7 is rotated in a direction B to separate a lower-most one of documents placed on a tray 1 one by one. Then, a document introduced into the first sheet path 8 is reversed to be introduced onto a platen glass 10. The second sheet path 11 is a passage for reversing the document on the platen glass 10 and introducing the same to the loading tray 1. The third sheet path 13 is a path for reversing a both-srded document by diverging the document from the sheet path 11 to a switch back direction. The path 15 at the latter half keeps the sorface of the document fed from an opening 15d to the platen 10 upward and exposes a part of it for confirmation of the document face. The fourth sheet path is used to reverse a both-srded document thereby to prevent the document from being damaged. |
