<p>PURPOSE:To certainly transport a paper sheet in sticked state by arranging needle-shaped projections in spiral form onto the surface of a paper transporting roller, in a paper-sheet feeding device of a copying machine, etc. CONSTITUTION:Needle-shaped projections 25a-25c are formed in spiral form onto the surface of a transport roller 20 so that the interval (t) between the continuous needle-shaped projections 21 and 22 is set as follows: 0.05<=t<=2mm. in the transport of a paper sheet P, the needle-shaped projection 22 which sticks onto the paper sheet P carries-out the feeding operation through the revolution of the transport roller 20, and then the needle-shaped projection 23 sticks onto another position on the paper P and carries-out similar feeding operation, and since the needle-shaped projections in other rows carry-out the similar operation, certain transport is permitted. Even if the needle-shaped projection 21 slips on the paper P, and scratches or cracks are formed, the needle-shaped projection 22 sticks onto the paper sheet P, keeping a distance (t), and certain transport is permitted.</p> |
