PURPOSE:To aim at making a water ring pump lightweight and miniaturized, at reducing the time of fabrication and at facilitating the disassembly and assembly of the pump, by constituting a casing with the use of an inner cylindrical section and an outer cylindrical section so that the entire shape thereof is substantially cylindrical, and by concentrically arranging a control plate, a cover and a bearing section so that they are arranged aside in a spigot joint type. CONSTITUTION:A casing 1 composed of an inner cylindrical section 4 and an outer cylindrical section 5, has its entire shape which is cylindrical or substantially cylindrical, and a control plate 10, spigot joint type stepped sections 31, 31a, 31b of a cover 21 and a bearing section 33 are arranged aside in a spigot joint type while their centers aligned with the center of a rotary shaft, so that they are maintained to be coaxial with each other. With this arrangement, an accurate fabrication and a finishing process which are required to the surfaces of the stepped sections 31, 31a, 31b may be greatly facilitated in comparison with the conventional stepped sections in which the center of the cylindrical casing shape is not aligned with the rotational center, and the attachment of the control plate 10 and the cover 21 arranged aside the casing 1 may be made to be positionally accurate and facilitated. Further, suction and discharge manifolds which have been conventionally required may be eliminated, thereby it is possible to provide a small size pump which is miniaturized and made to be lightweight. |
