PURPOSE:To obtain the optimum advance-angle characteristic in all operation range by installing an ignition-timing correcting means for correcting the ignition-timing according to the detected revolution speed and the load, when a fuel selecting switch is turned-ON. CONSTITUTION:An ignition-timing calculating means calculates the optimum ignition-timing thetaBSE according to the revolution speed and the load of an engine which are detected for either of the high octane number fuel or the low octane number fuel. A fuel selecting switch is turned-ON when other fuel is to be used. Therefore, when the fuel selecting switch is turned-ON, an ignition-timing correcting means corrects the ignition-timing thetaBSE according to the detected revolution speed and the load. Thus, the optimum advance-angle characteristic for all the operation range can be obtained without increasing the capacity of ROM. |
