PURPOSE:To enable cooling water to be fed into a water discharging side without causing the sooling water to be passed through a condensor, to enable an one-side operation of the condensor to be performed and to make a narrow installing space for intakes facility by a method wherein an intake communication valve is arranged between the intake supplying pipe and the water discharging pipe through the intake communication valve for the condensor. CONSTITUTION:An intake pump 1 having no movable vanes is arragned, an intake communication pipe 13 is connected between an intake supplying pipe 3 and an intake discharging pipe 9, and the intake communication pipe 13 is provided with a communication valve 14. The second condensor inlet valve 7 and the second condensor outlet valve 10 are closed and the condensor intake communication valve 14 is opened, thereby the cooling water is flowed into the chamber (a) of the condensor and into the intake discharging pipe 9, thereby the one-sided operation of the chamber (a) of the condensor can be performed. The first condensor inlet valve 4 and the first condensor outlet valve 8 are closed and the condensor intake communication valve 14 is opened, thereby the cooling water is flowed into the chambers 6b and 5b of the condensor and the intake discharging pipe 9 and so it is possible to perform one-side operation of the chambers 6b and 5b of the condensor. |
