The wheel fork has a tongue-like component (9) on its upper side, which with its inner end part (11) is fixed to the support (1), covering the wheel (4). They act as a splash protection. On its side facing the wheel the tongue-like component has a brake heel (12). This heel has an engagement surface (13) which locates at a friction-free distance from the cover surface (5) of the wheel when the tongue component (9) adopts a starting position unaffected by external forces. - The tongue component thus is pivoted around its inner end part (11) to an inner brake position by application of an external force with the aid of a ski stick. In this braking position, the brake heel is brought into friction engagement with the wheel. The tongue-like component will spring back to its starting position after removal of the external forces. |
