发明名称 OPTICAL PAPER DETECTION APPARATUS
摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance a wide use property by enabling the detection of various papers, by arranging a light source and a transmitted light detector to both sides of the passing part of paper to be detected in opposed relation to each other so as to match the optical axes of both of them and arranging a reflected light detector to the side where the light source was arranged. CONSTITUTION:A light source part 2 is constituted of a light emitting diode and each of a reflected light detection part 5 and a transmitted light detection part 7 is constituted of a phototransistor. In arranging the light source part 2, the reflected light detection part 5 and the transmitted light detection part 7, the light source part 2 and the transmitted light detection part 7 are arranged to both sides of the passing part of paper 1 to be detected so as to match the optical axes of both of them while the reflected light detection part 5 is arranged to the side where the light source part 2 was arranged and, further, arrangement is performed so that the optical axis of reflected light from the paper 1 to be detected when said paper 1 position at the paper passing part is matched with that of the reflected light detection part 5. By allowing the transmission and reflection type detection parts to coexist in one detection apparatus as mentioned above, the detection of various papers in enabled and a wide use property can be enhanced.
