PURPOSE:To improve the interior sense and cleaning property of the ventilating fan by fitting a cover to which a plurality of shutters which operate in conjunction with the drive and stoppage of a blower are axially connected to the front surface of the main body frame, into a dressed frame, and providing shutters on the rear surface of a filter. CONSTITUTION:A style frame 12 is mounted on a main body frame 1 in a freely attachable and detachable manner, and a cover 16 is fitted into the front surface of the style frame 12 in a freely attachable and detachable manner. A plurality of shutters 171 - - - 17n are provided on the front surface of the cover 16 and fitted therein in such a manner that these shutters 171 - - - 17n open downwardly but close upwardly with respect to the cover 16. An inductor type synchronous system timing motor 28 is secured to the end portion of a support 9 and a lever 30 is axially coupled to an output shaft 29 of the motor 28. The forward end of the lever 30 moves a connecting plate 19 upwardly and downwardly in accordance with the normal or inverse rotation of the timing motor 28 thereby to open or close the shutters 171 - - - 17n. A filter 35 is fitted into a cylindrical part 34 of a frame body 33 to prevent invasion of rain water, insects and the like. Shutters 171 - - - 17n are close during the operation of the ventilating fan, and are opened downwardly with the start of the operation and are closed upwardly so that the rotation of the vane 5 is made invisible.
