PURPOSE:To provide a thermal accumulation system in which a large amount of heat can efficiently be accumulated with a relative low capacity and the required amount of heat can be taken out as necessary by a method wherein thermal accumulation agent is circulated between the thermal accumulation tank and the heat exchanger under an incomplete solid state. CONSTITUTION:A thermal accumilation system is comprised of a thermal accumulation tank 1 for storing thermal accumilation agent, a heat exchanger 2 coonnected to the thermal accumulation tank through a pipe line and a pump 3 for circulating the thermal accumulation agent present in the midway of the pipe line to cause the thermal accumulation agent to be circulated between the thermal accmulation tank and the heat exchanber 2 under an incompoete solid condition. The incomplete solid condition means s slurry, for example, the thermal accumulation agent utilized as a heating source for the heating operation can be attained by mixing water and stearilalcohol. The thermal accumulation agent utilized as a cold heat source for the cooling operation can be attained by mixing water and decilalcohol. Each of the above-mentioned thermal accumulation agents is superior in its thermal conductivity and the desired so-called incomplete solid condition can easily be attained. |
