PURPOSE:To prevent interaction and oscillation of power radiation by forming the size of a part mounted with an MIC circulator and a microwave integrated circuit attenuator requiring isolation as the waveguide size or below cut off partially in the operating frequency. CONSTITUTION:The size mounted with MIC circulators 4, 5 is selected as the wave guide size (a) or below cut off partially in the operating frequency. The size (a) of the part mounted with the MIC circulators 4, 5 of a case 7 prevents the propagation of radiated power in the operating frequency and spurious radiation and the effect onto the frequency characteristic in the frequency charac teristic within the operating frequency band. In general, the diameter of the junction of the MIC circulators 4, 5 is nearly 1/2lambdag with the free space wave length lambdac of the operating frequency, the junction diameter 1/2lambdag=11.8mm and the square waveguide size (a)=lambdac/2=32.5mm in the TEro mode having the longest cut-off wavelength are obtained and epsilonr= nearly 10 is attained to form a case having a sufficient cut-off state in comparison with the junction diameter with lambdao=75mm and epsilonr=10 of the ferrite of circulator. Similarly, the microwave integrated circuit attenuator is small in size and mounted suffi ciently within the size of cut-off case. |
