PURPOSE:To obtain a spergualin preparation for injection having excellent age stability and useful as carcinostatic agent and immuno-regulator, by adding mannitol, maltose, dextran, etc., as a stabilizer to spergualin or its salt. CONSTITUTION:A medicinal preparation for injection is produced by adding one or more kinds of stabilizers selected from mannitol, maltose, dextran, lactose, gelatin, etc., to spergualin of formula [R is group of formula II, -(CH2)6, -(CH2)4-CH=CH-, etc.] or its salt. When R is group of formula II, then the stabilizer is not mannitol. The amount of the stabilizer is preferably 1-100pts. per 1pt. of spergualin. A freeze-dried preparation for injection having excellent age stability can be produced by this process. |
