PURPOSE:To decrease color shifts due to temperature changes or aged changes and to realize the system suitable for circuit integration by applying sampling while shifting a delay time corresponding to a delay circuit at the sampling point of time of an A/D converter and shifting the sampling point of time of a color difference signal to a luminance signal to correct the delay time. CONSTITUTION:Sampled luminance signal data is written sequentially on a 1H memory 6a during the 2nd horizontal scanning period and a color difference signal data is written sequentially on 1H memories 6b, 6c. The data stored in temporary storage means 6a, 6b, 6c is read in the 3rd horizontal scanning period. A read clock of the luminance signal data is read by the same clock as the write clock, and since the read clock of color difference signal data is obtained by applying 1/4 frequency division to a basic clock generating the read clock of the luminance signal by a frequency division circuit 11, the data is read as soon as the 1st luminance signal data in one unit is read. Thus, the color difference signal retarded by the luminance signal is corrected at signal demodulation by reading the data from the temporary storage means.
