摘要 PURPOSE:To contrive improvement in the corrosion-resisting property of the titled magnet by a method wherein a corrosion-resisting thin film layer is formed by coating on the surface of the permanent magnet body mainly composed of the specific quantity of the rare-earth containing Y, boron and iron respectively by performing an ion-implanting method. CONSTITUTION:The coating material constituting an anode is formed into an atomic state, a molecular state or a fine grain state by heating it in a vacuum chamber, the coating material is ionized by performing thermion impingement. The ionized grains, augmented by the ionized grains of the coating material, which travel by the distribution of electric field collided with the evaporated grains, are adhered to the surface of the permanent magnetic body having the main phase, mostly composed of cathode constituting R, B and Fe, consisting of a tetragonal phase. In this case, as the crystal structure of the rare-earth element containing Y becomes the cubic crystal constitution of the same structure as alpha-iron with 8atom% or below, high coercive force is not obtained, and when 30atom% is exceeded, the density of residual magnetic flux is decreased. B is turned to a diamond-faced body constitution with 2atom% or below and high coercive force is not obtained, and its residual magnetic flux density is decreased. Pertaining to Fe, the residual magnetic flux density is decreased with 42atom% or below, and high coercive force can not be obtained when 90atom% is exceeded.
