PURPOSE:To prevent the chattering phenomenon of a compressor, the burning loss of the compresor and the break-down of a relay caused by run-away running by providign an extraordinary state detector connected to the compressor and a microprocessor comprising means for initializing a control program by inputting an operation signal and timer means for resuming the operation of the compressor in accordnce with the eompletionof the time-counting operation of the initializing means. CONSTITUTION:A micrirocessor 2 having means for initializing a program when a high level voltage is applied thereto, and also has a timer means for measuring an predetermined time and resuming the operation of a compressor, and outputs a signal froman output port to a relay coil 3. During the operation of the compressor, if an overload detector 9 and an overcurrent detector 10 are inoperative, the compressor keep its operational state. Next, in a case where the microprocessor 2 is performing run-away running in a state where any one or both of the overload detector 9 and the overcurrent detector 10 are operating the control program is initialized and the contained timer is started to accomplish the time-counting operation of a predetermined time. Therefore, no chattering phenomenon of the compressor 12 occurs.
