PURPOSE:To make unnecessary the work to renew the number for an original or for a copy and to decrease a labor by incrementing automatically or decre menting the number when a number display mode is selected by a mode selecting means. CONSTITUTION:When original information is copied, in the copying device which can also copy additional information displayed by the display means, the device has a display means which can display the data and the number as additional information, a mode selecting means to display the date and the number and the number increasing and decreasing means which can automati cally increment or decrement the number for a copy or for an original when the display means is a number display mode. By a mode selecting button 51 used when the additional information is copied, as the additional information, either of the mode to copy the data, the mode to copy the number as the addi tional information and the mode not to copy can be selected.
