PURPOSE:To enable to visualize the strongest magnetic position by placing an external permanent magnet in correspondence with the opposite pole of an internal permanent magnet so as to create a space of a strong magnetic field and moving a magnetic sensor through the space of a strong magnetic field induced between the both permanent magnets. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet 3 is fixed on the designated position of a electric cable core 1 situated inside of a pipe 2 so as to make the both poles of the permanent magnet 3 perpendicular to the electric cable core. Meantime, at the outside of the pipe 2, a permanent magnet 4 is installed with movability and keeping its polarity to attract the internal permanent magnet 3 each other. When the both magnets 3, 4 confront each other, a space between the two poles becomes a strong magnetic field. A compass magnet 5 is shifted at a slow speed and in the parallel direction with the pipe 2, then a compass magnet 5 changes its direction under the influence of the magnetic force lines. But, it stands perpendicularly to the pipe 2 when the both permanent magnets 3, 4 are aligned on the same straight line perpendicular to the pipe 2. When the compass magnet 5 is inclined, by moving the external magnet 4 until the compass magnet 5 becomes vertical, then the location of the magnet 3 on an electric cable 1 can be detected precisely. |
