The coding system can be used to convert Korean or Chinese script into a form for processing in a machine. It involves selecting characters with signal generating units. The units are related to certain character identification components and when combined will produce a unique signal. The machine contains other units which will react to the composite signals to produce corresponding groups of possible characters. A selection is then made from these reproduced characters with the corresponding identification signals. |
