CONSTITUTION:A paper guide part is constituted of a fixed paper guide plate 4a fixed to a side plate 1, and the movable paper guide plate 4b fixed to the pinch roller lever 7. As an upper chassis 16 is turned, a pinch roller lever depressing shaft 18 is also moved. At this time, the lever 7 is depressed downward by the shaft 18, so that it is turned with a turning shaft 8 as a center. As a result, a pinch roller 6 is released from a capstan roller 5, the guide plate 4b is also shifted to that position, and the gap between the roller 6 and the guide plate 4b is constantly fixed. Therefore, a recording paper 2a inserted is deflected by the guide plate 4b, and is inserted between the roller 5 and the roller 6.
