PURPOSE:To obtain a container formed of Al foil with substantially no wrinkles by forming preliminarily fine ruggedness to the Al foil to be formed and forming the Al foil by a press in such a manner that the wrinkles are naturally formed. CONSTITUTION:The fine ruggedness is formed to the Al foil by using, for example, an embossing roll then such Al foul is formed by the press to the shape of the container. A press die for forming may be the same as the die used heretofore for a container having natural wrinkles and no special treatments are required in the process of manufacture like in the conventional practice. There are no spontaneous wrinkles on a bottom wall 2 at all and a flange 4 is substantially wrinkle-free when the container 1 shown in the figure is formed by the above-memtioned method. The shallow wrinkles in the radial direction are slightly generated on a circumferential wall to the inconspicuous extent. |
