PURPOSE:To enhance the lubrication of a fluid coupling, by providing such an arrangement that oil which is fluidically energized under centrifugal force within a pump passage formed in one of first and second rotary members which are coupled with first and second rotary shafts, respectively, is fed into a space between friction discs from a discharge port. CONSTITUTION:A clutch blade 21 is fitted on a clutch hub 16 outside of the center of the latter, and a gear pump 19 is attached to the hube is side of the center of thereof. Further, a ring-like piston 20 is fitted on the clutch hub 16 at the right end thereof. The gear pump 19 is composed of an external gear 27 rotating integrally with an output shaft 4, an internal gear 26 meshed with the former and the clutch hub 16 incorporating rotatably both gears. Further, a pump passage 43 extending radially of the rotary center axis (1) is formed in the clutch hub 16 in the vicinity of the gear pump 19 so that centrifugal force is exerted to oil in the pump passage 43 to scatter oil into the space between the clutch plate 21 and the clutch disc 42. |
