PURPOSE:To ensure a high sensitivity and prevent recorded image from fading or blushing, by using at least one each of specified compounds as a color developer and using zinc oxide as a filler. CONSTITUTION:An appropriate combination of a compound of formula (I), wherein n is 1 or 2, and a compound of formula (II) is used as a color developer, and zinc oxide ZnO is used as a filler. All conventional constructions wherein a color forming reaction of a leuco dye with a colordeveloper are included. Any of various conventional binders can be used for binding and supporting the leuco dye, the color developer and zinc oxide on a base, and additives such as a surfactant and a heat-fusible substance (or a lubricant) can be used together. A thermal recording layer coating liquid comprising the constituents is applied to an appropriate base such as a paper, a synthetic paper and a plastic film, followed by drying to produce the thermal recording material. |
