Improved bundling method for packaging a box 2, comprising closure flaps 3, 4 which are free but can be folded over onto the body 7 of the box 2, under heat-shrinkable films 11, 12, of the type in which: - the box 2 is surrounded by two heat-shrinkable films 11, 12; then - the two films 11, 12 deposited are welded transversely on each side; and finally - the said films 11, 12 are shrunk by means of heat by passing the packed box 7' into a heated chamber, characterised in that, during the phase of shrinking the films 11, 12, the flaps 3, 4 are held pressed against the body 7 of the box 2. The invention also relates to a device for implementing this method. Application to be envisaged: bundling of boxes with flaps. <IMAGE>
