PURPOSE:To minimize the operation by the operator by constituting the titled set that re-dialing is applied automatically to a telephone line having a different host when a data telephone set and a host are not connected normally. CONSTITUTION:A [1] key is depressed to input a data and then a dial key is depressed. A control part 17 closes a switch circuit 5 to connect a telephone line 2, to read a dial number TEL1 corresponding to the [1] key from a dial memory 14, to transmit it to a dial circuit 7 for re-dialing to a telephone line H1 of a host 18. Then a timer circuit 10 is set. When no detection signal CS of a detection circuit 9 is obtained even with time-out, a switch circuit 5 is turned off, a table 15 is referenced to read a key code stored to the [1] key and a dial number TEL2 corresponding to the key code is read from the dial memory 14. After the switch circuit 5 is turned on, the dial number TEL2 is transmitted to the dial circuit 7 and automatic dialing is applied to a telephone line H2.
