PURPOSE:To provide a caulking device which does not require the manufacture of the caulking device so as comply with the outside diameter and length of a shaft in the caulking device for caulking and fixing the shaft to a sheet metal by providing an anvil device and guide device which can be respectively moved in an axial direction of the shaft and the direction perpendicular to the shaft. CONSTITUTION:The anvil 11 is rotated and moved upward and downward by a screw part 12a provided to the caulking device body 12 to adjust and determine the length in the axial direction of the shaft. The position of the anvil 11 is fixed b a set bolt 10. For example, a staircase-shaped positioning part 12b constituted to the body 12 and staircase-shaped positioning parts 6a, 7a provided to guide parts 6, 7 for guiding the shaft 2 in the outside diametral direction are combined. The positions of the guide parts 6, 7 are stepwise adjusted to meet the outside diameter of the shaft 2 and attaching bolts 8, 9 are screwed down to fix the guide parts 6, 7. A caulking punch 5 is then lowered and the top end 2a of the shaft 2 inserted into the hole of the sheet metal 1 is caulked to fix the shaft 2 and the metal 1. |
