PURPOSE:To distinguish whether or not a telephone number is stored in a telephone number memory from each other at a glance by using a different display content of a display means depending on whether or not a command flag is set. CONSTITUTION:A voice data memory 13 having the 1st area storing a voice data uttering a predetermined message and the 2nd area storing a voice data uttering numerals (0-9), a voice synthesis means 9 synthesizing a voice based on the voice data extracted selectively from a voice data memory and sending the result to a telephone line, a telephone number memory storing a telephone number inputted at the incoming side, an indication means 15 representing that the number is stored in the telephone number memory, and a display means 17 are provided. Then the display content of the display means is made different depending on whether only the 1st area is addressed and the voice is synthesized or the 2nd area corresponding to the numeral stored in the telephone number memory is addressed and the voice is synthesized based on the content of a command means when a telephone incoming is detected.
