The invention concerns a winding machine whose grinding wheel 1 machines a cam on a part 10, the latter being carried by an oscillating table 13. The thruster 17 of the oscillating table 13 is controlled by an eccentric 18 having a circular contour, which is always the same, whatever the profile of the cam to be machined on the part 10. A CNC- control device controls, at each instant, the speed of rotation of the part 10 and the speed of rotation of the eccentric 18, around its shaft 20. This shaft moves (double arrow) 25. Application: removal of the master cam on a grinding machine operating at a high industrial working speed. <IMAGE>
