PURPOSE:To reduce the concn. of the solvent in waste water from the water separator of a dry cleaner, by separating waste water in tank on the basis of specific gravity and further applying two-stage aeration to waste water, from which a solvent was removed, before discharging the same out of the system. CONSTITUTION:Waste water formed in a water separator by operating a dry cleaner main body 34 is stored in a waste water storage tank 43 through water piping 29 and receives specific gravity separation. Subsequently, a pump 46 is operated to send a definite amount of supernatant water in the tank 43 to a primary aeration tank 44 and a secondary aeration tank 45. Thereafter, waste water is introduced into an activated carbon solvent absorbing tower and dis charged out of the system as waste water reduced in the concn. of a solvent and having no problem at all from an environmental aspect.
