PURPOSE:To efficiently recover water absorbing molded articles, by containing a magnetizable substance such as an iron powder in each of the water absorbing molded articles and attaching said molded articles by the magnetic force of a metal removing device above a belt conveyor on the way of the transport of a deposit on which said molded articles were scattered. CONSTITUTION:Each of a water absorbing molded articles 1 is formed by allowing an iron powder or iron fiber to be present in a kneaded substance of a high-molecular resin such as polyurethane or butyl rubber and a water absorbable resin. These molded particles are scattered on the surface of a bulk stock material deposit 5 piled on an open-air storage yard or mixed in said deposit 5 to absorb moisture contained in said deposit 5 by rainwater. Next, on the way of the transport of the deposit 5, on which the water absorbing molded articles 1 were absorbing molded articles 1 are separated and recovered from the deposit 5 by the magnetic force of the metal removing device 8 arranged above a belt conveyor 4. After recovery, the molded articles are dried and reutilized. |
