<p>PURPOSE:To effectively fire even with a narrow width pulse by detecting a firing delay by the input voltage and output current of a thyristor converter, and controlling to always increases the firing delay angle detected by the firing angle. CONSTITUTION:An amplifier 10 outputs a deviation V between a generator terminal voltage and a voltage set value Vref. A calculator 20 calculates a control delay angle delta effectively fired at a thyristor converter 4 by an input voltage VG to the converter 4 and the output current IF of the converter 4. A limiter 19 has saturating characteristic in case of VCL=V1 (where VCL is the output signal of the limiter 19) for the input Vc, but a saturated voltage V1 is varied by the delay angle delta. Thus, since the firing angle of the converter 4 output from a pulse phase shifter 17A does not become the angle delta, the capacity of the converter can be utilized to the maximum.</p> |
