PURPOSE:To attain high speed and the low electric power consumption of a bipolar IC by constituting a scanning circuit with the decoder of the current mode using a bipolar IC process. CONSTITUTION:The decoder of the current mode is constituted by connecting current switches 3-9 comprising current switching circuits in cascade. When the level of a block input terminal 2 is logical H and the level of complimentary input signals A-C is all logical L, a current from the collector of a transistor (TR) 14 is given to a load resistor 12-1 by the decoder circuit comprising the current switches and a potential difference is generated across the resistor 12-1. As a result, the base voltage of a PNP TR 10-1 is lowered, the PNP TR is turned on, a charging current flows to a photo TR 11-1, and the light current of the photo TR by the electric charge storage mode appears at the 1st video output line 13. In giving an optional 3-bit input signal to the input terminal of the complementary signal, a video signal is obtained from an optional photo TR.
