PURPOSE:To emit directly an electromagnetic wave from one end part of a line by fetching the electromagnetic wave radiated from one end part by a prescribed wave surface shape. CONSTITUTION:A convex surface 5 is formed on the end face of one end part of a dielectric line 1. This convex surface 5 is operated as a convex lens against an electromagnetic wave radiated from the end face of one end part of the dielectric line, by which the electromagnetic wave is radiated as a plane wave from the end face of the dielectric line 1. As for a dielectric for constituting the dielectric line 1, unburned or incompletely burned ethylene tetrafluoride resin moldings are used, but this moldings are made of a crystalline high polymer material, and as for its internal structure, many fine nodes are connected so as to be three-dimensional to each other by many fine fibers, many intricate air-gaps are formed between these fine nodes and fine fibers, and this moldings have a porous fine structure of a continuous porosity. A dielectric having such a porous fine structure is obtained by drawing the polytetrafluoroethylene resin (PTFE) moldings to several times to about 100 times in the uniaxial direction in an unburned state, and by a variation of this drawing magnification, the specific gravity, porosity, dielectric constant,etc. of the PTFE moldings can be varied in an extremely wide range.
