PURPOSE:To improve the output of a multicylinder engine by connecting a path for introducing air or gas into an intake path to an intake aggregate downstream of a throttle valve so that an average length and diameter of path of an intake system are set not to hinder a resonance supercharging effect of the intake system. CONSTITUTION:Intake paths 2a-2f connected to respective cylinder 1A-1F of a series 6 cylinder engine 1 are divided into 2 cylinder groups which do not overlap each other with respect to intake stroke and connected to 2 intake aggregates (surge tanks) 3, 4. To the respective intake aggregates 3, 4 are connected branch intake paths 5, 6 having average length L and diameter D of path and communicating jointly to a combined path 27. Also, to the respective intake aggregates 3, 4 is connected one end of an introducing path 11 having the other end connected to the branch intake path 5 upstream of a throttle valve 13, a crank case and a canister 29. And the average length l and diameter d of branch path portions 11a, 11b of the introducing path 11 are set to satisfy the requirement of d/l<1/2D/L<1/2>. |
