PURPOSE:To raise the water resistance and light resistance of aqueous ink pictures by adding a thiourea compound having one or more specific structures in its molecule to a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium contains a thiourea compound having one or more structures in its molecule, as represented by the formula. A cationic resin is preferably used in order to raise both the water resistance and the light resistance of the recording medium. As other additives to be added, a pigment dispersant, a thickening agent, a fluidity modulator, a defoaming agent, a foam suppressor, a releasing agent, a blowing agent, a permeator, a dye, a pigment, a fluorescent bleaching agent, an ultraviolet rays absorber, an antioxidant, an anticeptic agent, a bateriostat, a water resistance improver, etc., may be cited. As a supporter, a sheeted material of paper or thermoplastic resins may be used. The use of an aqueous ink composed of a medium and an aqueous ink in recording increases the light resistance of the recorded pictures. |
