PURPOSE:To prevent generation of a shock wave and suppress generation of an exhaust burr noise, by connecting an exhaust pipe, having two flow paths inducting exhaust in a cylinder with no interference of an exhaust stroke, with an exhaust manifold and communicating the both flow paths in the upstream side of a collection part where said flow path joins collecting. CONSTITUTION:A branch pipe 2, 3, inducting exhaust gas from a different cylinder, is formed in the upstream side end part of a front tube 11 connected with an exhaust manifold 1. This branch pipe 2, 3 is provided extending parallelly to each other, and the pipe 2, 3, after it joins collecting in a collection part 4, is connected with a premuffler 6 through a pipe 5. While the branch pipe 2, 3 communicates with each other through a plurality of communication holes 12 in the upstream side of the collection part 4. In the above, an engine generates in accordance with its rotation a pressure wave incident from each cylinder successively placed in an explosion stroke to be alternately propagated to the branch pipe 2, 3 via the exhaust manifold 1, but the engine, dispersing the pressure wave generated in one branch pipe to the other branch pipe via the communication holes 12... to be attenuated, prevents the generation of a shock wave.
