Single-grip mixing valve provided with cartridge 8 which includes a reversing part 12 placed within the valve housing 1 between cartridge 8 and two inlets 2, 3 for hot and cold water so that it can be optionally set in two different positions and has two through channels 14, 15 whose shape and positioning are such that in the first setting the first valve housing inlet 2 is in liquid connection with the first cartridge input 9 and the second valve housing inlet 3 is in connection with the second cartridge inlet 10, whereas in the second setting position the first valve housing inlet 2 is in liquid connection with the second cartridge input 10 and the second valve housing inlet 3 is connected to the first cartridge inlet 9, in which the choice of setting position for the reversing part 12 means that during installation of the valve the order for connection between the inlet 2, 3 of the valve housing and the inputs 9, 10 of the cartridge can be chosen and also changed, as required. <IMAGE>
