The invention relates to a closure door for an open heating fireplace, the door leaf(-ves) (one or two) of which is (are) connected in an articulated manner (door hinge) on a support frame about in each case vertical axes outside the side walls of the combustion chamber, which frame is displaceable parallel to the side walls of the combustion chamber over the entire length of the side walls and supports the door hinges on its front vertical edge, each support frame being mounted by means of guide rollers on guide rails arranged in the region of the side walls of the combustion chamber and consisting of vertical supports which support the guide rollers and which are interconnected via connecting plates which adjoin the vertical supports in an articulated manner about vertical axes.
