The invention relates to a device for coupling a small electric motor (1) to a gearwheel transmission (5), in the case of which a coupling element (19) forms an input pinion (21), which can be plugged into the input stage (7) of the gearwheel transmission (5), and a bush (18) into which a motor shaft (4) can easily be pushed and to which a device (23) which engages without rotation play on the pushed-in motor shaft is allocated. In this case, it is desirable for it to be possible to plug the input pinion into the input stage of the gear transmission independently of the motor. This is achieved in that the device, which engages without rotation play, is formed by a freewheeling device (23) which is fixedly inserted into the cavity of the bush (18). The rotationally fixed connection of the motor shaft and the coupling piece are produced simply by pushing the motor shaft into the freewheeling device which is seated in the bush. <IMAGE>
