摘要 Separate measuring and calculation of hot water consumption is henceforth to be a legal requirement. As, however, the areas of consumption (living accommodation, commercial premises etc.) are generally a considerable distance from the point at which the water is heated (boiler room), a circulation pipe is normally placed either in the middle of the area of consumption or in the vicinity of each tapping connection. The tapping connections are controlled from there by means of individual pipes. This has the following disadvantages: firstly, hot water is not immediately available (the tap must be allowed to run), secondly a water meter must be installed at each tapping connection. The invention makes it possible to use a water-measuring device in the boiler room to measure the hot water consumption of any number of tapping connections in an area of consumption and simultaneously to situate the circulation pipe directly at the point of consumption. The device (see drawing) is installed in the flow pipe (1) and the return pipe (circulation) (2) and forms a unit. The non-return valve (3) closes when a tapping connection is opened. The pressure now produced in the circulation pipe (4) acts on the diaphragm (5) which yields to the pressure in a controlled fashion. The diaphragm shaft is connected to the water meter. The metering device (6) is released by the pushing action and water consumption is measured. It does not matter whether the pulse of the membrane is mechanically or electronically ...
