PURPOSE:To attain the cost-down of the entire system and to reduce the development time by connecting the support system to a general-purpose computer and using an object program to execute a CPU of a target machine for debugging. CONSTITUTION:A translation program of a ROM2 is transferred to a RAM of a general-purpose computer 3 by application of power to generate a source program. It is inputted and translated into the machine word by 1 line input and the input mistake is discriminated and when it exists, the mistake is corrected, and when not existing, the program of the translation unit is transferred and stored in a RAM7 of an emulator 9. Then the data select 8 is changeover to the target machine 5. Thus, the RAM7 is connected to the CPU11 of the target machine 5 and the object program of the RAM7 executes the CPU11. Whether or not a bug exists is discriminated and when it exists, correction is applied at this point of time to confirm instantly the result of processing of the corrected part. |
