The invention relates to a friction wheel lighter, in particular gas lighter, with an ignition unit situated in the upper part, a sleeve, a bottom part and an inlet valve, the upper part (2) having a threaded bush (11) and the inlet valve (12) an integrated holding screw (9) which can be connected to the threaded bush (11), with bracing of the sleeve (8). The upper part (2) has a removable ignition unit (5) which is designed as a component. The ignition unit (5) is in one embodiment designed at the same time as a tool for regulating the combustion nozzle. Arranged between the upper part (2) and the sleeve (8) and the bottom part (18) and the sleeve (8) is in each case a sealing element (7) and (19) respectively so that, after assembly, the inner space of the sleeve (8) forms a gas-tight fuel tank. <IMAGE>
