Single-rope grab

A single-rope grab comprising grab blades linked to a grab yoke, a grab head, a guide rod for a movement of the grab yoke relative to the grab head, and also a pivotably mounted catch, the guide rod having a retaining seat for the catch dropping into it. Locking cheeks are provided on both sides of the catch. In the area of these locking cheeks, the catch has locking recesses for accommodating locking bodies. The locking bodies release the catch by the locking cheeks swinging up. The catch then drops out of the retaining position into the release position and consequently releases the guide rod for opening the grab blades. The actuation of the locking cheeks is effected via a toggle-lever drive with pull lever by one operator so that the grab blades open without the single-rope grab having to be set down. <IMAGE>
