Turning attachment for turning round material, with predetermined diameter to be turned, nominal diameter and turning length for clamping into a drilling machine. The invention consists of two parts: The interchangeable cutting inserts which are to be available for nominal diameters of 6 to 16 mm; Fig. 1 on sheet 1. The die holder (housing) which is to be available in three different lengths in order to obtain larger turning lengths; Fig. 2, sheet 2. In the case of shafts, journals or screws which are not releasably connected and have to be reduced in diameter, in the do-it-yourself or industrial sector, the object of the invention is to solve these problems. <IMAGE>
