A strip curtain (1) for the closure of doorway openings, in particular of industrial or warehouse premises, consists of at least two vertical, overlapping strips (14) made of flexible, preferably transparent plastic, which can be pushed together and pulled apart and which are received at their upper edge by horizontal holding strips (13) which are pivotable about a vertical axis by a lateral, stationarily mounted articulation piece (12) and which are in each case fastened via a connecting part (5) to a slide (4) guided displaceably on a rail (3) by a drive. In order, at the same time as reducing the manufacturing expenditure, to avoid the folding together of the strips (14) on pushing together of the strip curtain (1), each holding strip (13) is connected, movably parallel to one another in the longitudinal direction, to the adjacent holding strip (13) by a straight guide (10, 11). <IMAGE>
