A central processor writes into a buffer memory from one side, whilst this buffer memory is scanned from the other side by sub-processors which are separately assigned to each operating unit. A decentralised arrangement of this type is designed for a complex and more precise control, since not all operating sequences have to be controlled by way of a central processor.
