PURPOSE:To facilitate setting a data taking-in period by providing a taking-in period setting means of the recording paper delivering speed and input signal data and an arithmetic means discriminating whether the setting is right or wrong and making it unnecessary for an operator to calculate it each time. CONSTITUTION:A taking-in place of an input signal, the recording paper delivering speed and the data taking-in period are set previously by the setting means 5. Then, the input signal taken in by an input switch-over apparatus 1 is amplified by an amplifier 2 and converted into a digital signal by an A/D converter 3. Then, it is discriminated by the arithmetic means 4 if the taking-in period satisfies a set value. In other words, the arithmetic means 4 produces an accepting sound or the like of the possibility of the setting and changes the taking-in period when the set period is larger than the taking-in time of the necessary number of input and smaller than the taking-in period interlocked with the recording paper delivering speed, and informs the operator of the impossibility of the acceptance by the bad sound of the acceptance, the lighting of an emitter, etc. when the set period does not satisfy the set value. Hereby, the setting of the taking-in period can be performed accurately easily.
